KRAVE Automotive 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra Panhard Correction Kit
The third-generation Tundra, along with its coil and link rear suspension counterparts in the Toyota family, experiences rear alignment and bump steer issues when the vehicle is lifted. Even basic spacer lifts can cause the axle to shift approximately 1" towards the driver's side, resulting in the rear of the vehicle "dog tracking" and affecting the vehicle's steering during rear suspension cycling.
Restore your lifted vehicle's factory handling by incorporating our in-house CAD-designed and tested panhard correction solution. This component is a 100% bolt-in part, constructed from laser-cut 3/16 mild steel. It is assembled and welded at Krave and is finished with a black powder coat. We provide all grade 10.9 hardware to ensure strength and durability. Installing this part is a straightforward process, requiring only simple hand tools and can be completed in under an hour. Furthermore, it can be utilized with or without an adjustable rear panhard for fine-tuning the axle position.
Please read before purchase:
This kit is designed for lifted vehicles only and is compatible with everything from a spacer lift to proper rear coil and shock combinations. To accurately estimate its effectiveness this kit works best with vehicles with a 24” to 26.5” rear lift measured from the center of the wheel hub to fender/flare edge. If your vehicle is taller than this please reach out to our sales team to talk about other options.
Note that spacer lift kits or springs giving approximately 24” or rear ride height do not need to use an adjustable rear bar unless desired.Â
It is highly recommended that an upgraded rear bump stop be installed as the factory bump stops are insufficient in a lifted vehicle, aftermarket airbag systems are acceptable as well.Â
An alignment may need to be completed after installation to correct for the thrust angle change, the steering wheel may be off center for some vehicles depending on lift height and previous changes.Â
Lastly the spare tire may need to be pushed towards the rear of the vehicle slightly to prevent rubbing of the tire on harder suspension cycles, oversized spare tires may contact the bar at times.
Vehicles equipped with TRD exhausts:
The TRD exhaust gives less clearance to the panhard bar especially when using an adjustable bar, there is some risk of the bar contacting the exhaust under hard compression or when loaded. Modification of the exhaust may be needed in some applications and installation of rear bump stops is highly recommended.
